Room for everyone’s files.
Free file tools use a rolling upload allowance to keep processing available.
4 GB or 50 files in 24 hours
Your allowance covers the original files you upload, whichever limit is reached first. GB means 1,000,000,000 bytes. Exported results and repeated downloads do not consume this upload allowance. Individual files and tools also have their own limits, including 25 new blank Office files in 24 hours.
Busy processing periods
When there is no healthy, free processing slot at your first visit, a 2 GB allowance is assigned for 24 hours. The 50-file limit stays the same. Your assigned allowance remains stable for that period even if capacity changes later. Unavailable workers count as unavailable capacity.
A rolling window
Each upload leaves the usage total 24 hours after its reservation was created. The workspace shows current totals and the assigned byte limit. New uploads reserve their full size and one file slot; resuming the same upload does not charge it again. Completed uploads remain counted if verification fails or you delete your session. Unfinished upload reservations are released when their temporary session is deleted or expires.
Anonymous usage records
The default deployment uses a secret-keyed hash of your network IP address to link usage across file sessions. For IPv6 this covers your network prefix (/64). The raw address is not stored in the quota ledger. People sharing an IP address share an allowance. An operator can instead choose browser identity; clearing that cookie can reset that identity. Usage records contain counts and sizes, not filenames or content, and expire after 24 hours.
